Prisoner or Volunteer?

Stuck isn't a word I use lightly.

Stuck means having no way out like a spoon in a peanut butter jar; sticky and thick. I'm not stuck here with chains around my feet and tape on my mouth. No one is. There's a map projecting through my eyes and a plan of a journey I hope to proceed. New journals are awaiting my presence with the adventures my mind revels in. Mistakes are in the past along with self doubt and objection to start living. A new year is coming up and I intend on making it a productive year. No more sitting in my bed from when the light hides out until it reveals itself at dawn. Self pity is destructive and selfish to what I can and want to do.

I'm not stuck anywhere besides my own mind.

Go out and seek it

Sometimes the world is dark and cruel, there is no way out of the black whole which society has embedded for us. Some people walk around in this world with their heads down and dark eyes. They live their life by uneventful occurences and they dont seek what is not brought before them. There are a few members in society that are not like this. Those who lift their head above the rest, they are tiptoeing on the edge of society, not clutching onto the world as all the others. You might view them as out of the ordinary, the uncomfort you feel as you watch people question the way the world works. There are a few, they call themselves deep thinkers and scorn at all the shallow populace that perform the same routine each day. I watch these deep thinkers in awe, and hope to aspire to them. But for now I am just an average teen and therefore I plan to embark on as many adventures as I can.
My bucket list is my prized possession. I had recently been on a streak of adventures, but as the weather gets colder my adventures start to freeze.
Until I realized, the beauty of my winter will be a masterpiece, and I am just the average painter.
One concert a month- as of now this is on full swing. (In the month of October I had actually went to three concerts)
Find and explore new hang outs
Say yes to everything for a week.
By just going out of my usual judgment and saying yes, I found I was encountered with many new opportunities.
Adventures come to those who seek it, so GO OUT AND SEEK THE BEAUTY OF THE WORLD.

Our Mission

Everyone asks me what I want to be after I leave high school.
I stare at them with a blank expression as millions of words pass through my mind, but none can form a thought or a sentence. What do I want to be? I question myself after a minute of staring. "I don't know yet" I say with a saddened face. My mind takes a plight into indecisiveness now, how do people answer this. People my age are so sure of who they want to be, so sure of who they are; while I'm just floating around life unsure of everything I do. There are a million options, and I can only choose one. I think the hardest part about hearing that question asked to you is reflecting back on what you did, what choices you made. I could have done things differently, been better for myself and others. But I chose other wise and had to live with it. The past doomed my future by choice, I didn't have to swim in old water. I still stare now at the wall wondering, what do I want to be.
How am I supposed to have an answer to that when I don't even know who I am.
